Terms of Service

These Terms govern access to and use of Cheap Frontier's websites, dashboard, API, subscriptions, and related services.

1. Agreement and eligibility

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. You must be legally able to enter a binding agreement. If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you can bind that organization, and “you” includes the organization.

2. The Service

Cheap Frontier provides an independent, OpenAI-compatible API and related account tools. Cheap Frontier is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by OpenAI. Model names, availability, behavior, compatibility, context limits, throughput, and features may change. We may add, remove, suspend, replace, or limit any model or feature at any time.

The Cheap Frontier plan currently includes a $20 daily official-list-price-equivalent usage allowance. Equivalent value is calculated using Cheap Frontier's published reference schedule based on API list prices; it is not cash, stored value, or third-party service credit. The allowance resets on a UTC schedule, expires at reset, has no cash value, and does not roll over.

3. Accounts and API keys

You are responsible for accurate account information, all activity under your account, and keeping credentials and API keys confidential. You must promptly revoke exposed keys and notify us of suspected unauthorized use. You may not sell, transfer, sublicense, share, or make your account or allowance available to another person or organization unless we expressly authorize it in writing.

4. Subscriptions, renewal, and payment

Subscription fees are charged in advance and may renew automatically for successive billing periods until canceled. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments (dodopayments.com). You authorize Cheap Frontier and Dodo Payments to charge the applicable fees and taxes using your selected payment method. We may change pricing or plan terms with notice as required by law. Cancellation stops future renewal but does not restore or extend an existing daily allowance.

Payments are final and non-refundable except where applicable law requires otherwise. We do not provide refunds or credits for unused daily allowance, unused subscription time, partial billing periods, model unavailability, suspended access, or failure to cancel before renewal. Promotional, equivalent-value, and comparison figures are not redeemable for money.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

• violate law, regulation, sanctions, export controls, or another person's rights;
• create, distribute, or facilitate malware, credential theft, fraud, or unauthorized access;
• probe, disrupt, overload, evade limits, or interfere with the Service or its security;
• resell, pool, transfer, or commercially share access without written permission;
• misrepresent output as human-generated where disclosure is legally required;
• submit data you lack permission to process or highly sensitive data not needed for your use; or
• use automated methods intended primarily to exhaust shared capacity or degrade other users.

We may investigate suspected misuse, preserve relevant records, impose technical controls, suspend requests or accounts, and cooperate with lawful authorities.

6. Customer content and permissions

As between you and Cheap Frontier, you retain your rights in prompts, inputs, files, and outputs associated with your account (“Customer Content”). You grant Cheap Frontier a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, transmit, format, process, and otherwise use Customer Content only as reasonably necessary to provide, operate, secure, troubleshoot, enforce, and improve the Service or comply with law. You represent that you have all rights and permissions needed for Customer Content and its processing.

Model output may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, non-unique, or subject to third-party rights. You are responsible for evaluating output and for decisions, code, publications, and other uses based on it. We do not guarantee that output is protectable, exclusive, or fit for any purpose.

7. Service data and intellectual property

Cheap Frontier and its licensors own the Service, software, interfaces, documentation, branding, designs, and all related intellectual-property rights. Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

We own and may use service-generated usage statistics, telemetry, performance measurements, security signals, diagnostics, and aggregated or de-identified data (“Service Data”) for any lawful business purpose, including operating, securing, analyzing, and improving the Service. Service Data will not be represented as identifying you when it has been aggregated or de-identified.

8. Availability, changes, and suspension

The Service may be unavailable, delayed, rate-limited, interrupted, or discontinued. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, response completion, model quality, latency, or recovery of a failed request. We may immediately restrict or suspend access to protect the Service, enforce these Terms, respond to legal obligations, manage security risk, or address nonpayment.

9. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE AND ALL OUTPUT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” CHEAP FRONTIER DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, AND QUIET ENJOYMENT. THE SERVICE IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL, LEGAL, MEDICAL, FINANCIAL, SECURITY, OR OTHER EXPERT ADVICE.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHEAP FRONTIER AND ITS OWNERS, AFFILIATES, PERSONNEL, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, BUSINESS, OR SERVICE INTERRUPTION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. THEIR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF US$30 OR THE FEES YOU PAID TO CHEAP FRONTIER DURING THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so portions of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Cheap Frontier and its owners, affiliates, personnel, and suppliers from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising from your Customer Content, your use of output, your violation of these Terms or law, or your infringement of another person's rights.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access immediately for breach, risk, nonpayment, unlawful activity, or operational necessity. On termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions concerning payment, ownership, Service Data, disclaimers, liability, indemnification, and disputes survive.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Cheap Frontier operating entity identified at checkout is established, excluding conflict-of-law rules. To the extent legally permitted, disputes must be brought exclusively in the courts serving that entity's principal place of business. Mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected.

14. General terms

You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, asset transfer, or operation of the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remainder will stay effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and incorporated policies are the entire agreement regarding the Service.

15. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by another legally sufficient method. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms. For support, legal notices, or questions about these Terms, email support@cheapfrontier.com.
